How are Turks and Azeris "not European"??
Because they're "darker skinned"? OK, then by that logic, most Spaniards, Portuguese, Southern Italians, Sardinians, Greeks and Albanians are "not European".
All of these groups largely have intermediate skin tone.
"Azeris and Turks are not genetically European!"
What do you mean by "genetically European"? Sardinian "European" with their low Northern European component? Polish "European" with virtually no Southern European ancestry? Sicilian "European" with an excess of Anatolian/Caucasian/Levantine ancestry? Mainland Greek "European" with a mix of Northern/Eastern and Southern "European" with a large Anatolian/Caucasian/Levantine component? When we compare Latvians to Sardinians, FST values are 0.023. When we compare the so-called "non-Europeans" that are the Azeris and Turks, FST values are 0.016 and 0.014 respectively. Even when we use the far less isolated Spaniards vs Latvians, FST values are 0.01. For context, Spaniards have a 0.009 value with SYRIANS.
No such thing as "genetically European". There are COMPONENTS of WESTERN EURASIAN ANCESTRIES.
Azerbaijan and Turkey are intrinsically linked with Europe genetically, culturally and historically. Don't like that? Fuck off.
