Turks are genetically closer to Europeans than Iranians for the following reasons:
Half of Turkish ancestry is derived from Anatolian farmers, a major ancestral European DNA component
Turks have much more Indo-European ancestry than Iranians
Even most of the Arab admixture in Turks comes from the Levant, Levantine Arabs have more Anatolian farmer ancestry than Saudi Arabs, who are mostly Natufians
The only DNA that is different from Europeans that Turks have is small amounts of Caucasus Hunter-gatherer DNA, Zagrosian DNA, and steppe Asian DNA
