This was one of the reasons why the boy's mother filed for divorce, took her son and left Kuldiga for Ventspils. After that the man hanged himself. Psychologists note that Gatis could have been influenced by the violent pictures he saw as a child. However, the final conclusion on his sanity will be given in a month. So far, none of the affected schoolchildren has ever filed a report with the police.
