Fair enough man, I understand where you're coming from. There's still a lot to do in terms of actually addressing hate crimes between two 'minorities' as actual hate crimes. I think it's mainly because in the states particularly, people view racial hate crimes as insanely blatant things like 50s/60s lynchings or Emmett Till situations, which were historically done to black people over there. They have a hard time acknowledging other forms of hate crimes that are more subtle or done between/to other ethnics because they want to view them as just crimes that happen to be between two different races etc instead of addressing that there is racial targeting without it having to be blatant and said out loud... So yeah I do agree some work needs to be done to actually make the distinction. Interestingly enough I don't watch Destiny and actually find him pretty annoying. I also try to avoid getting into a lot of political commentary because I've been there before.
