2,4,6,8 have overlayed left and bottom shapes from previous box on the left and top and right from previous box on the right

no idea for the second one

I actually looked at this earlier and didn't see a pattern

It was some shit like 65, 100+, 65, 8x, 72, ...

Unless it's something other than total

Fine I’ll give the the answer since it wasn’t even that good a puzzle to begin with:

The numbers 1-9 are contained within each word, but scrambled

Ohhhh I see that's actually pretty clever.
Your 2nd hint threw me off because like the other guy in the thread I started looking at totals
First I tried counting the number position of each letter, adding that up, comparing that to letter count or trying to find a pattern
Then trying to find a pattern with individual scrabble points
The guy sitting next to me in class saw what i was writing and def thought I was a schizo jfl

I wrote this sitting at a food court table in a mall lmfao

Mfers definitely thought I was schizophrenic
