Why is the UK so cucked if we aren't in the UN and we've had a British prime minister every year up till 2023

And we have a British royal family

Is it something to do with the banks cuz I dunno how the British bank works but Jimmy Carr said the British empire turned into a bank and if by bank he means the federal reserve then that makes sense
