I call upon the intelligent users on this forum for help on different outlooks of a current situation, I'm blinded by emotion.
I friend of mine recently broke up with his manipulative girlfriend and we had talked about him doing it and how after he did it we would lock in and hang out more often.
A new girl happened to start working at his job and this guy completely disappeared on me, we barely text now and whenever I say we should do something he brushes it off and or doesn't seem excited to do so.
This girl is a MTB who is kind to everyone and he doesn't see that, they've hugged as friends, but he doesn't interpret it as that way. They hangout exploring the city, but it has to be in a group of people because she said so and doesn't want to give him the wrong idea because she has a boyfriend, yet he doesn't care and still likes her.
It could be a way of healing for him post breakup since he's told me he's afraid of being alone, but it's not the right way. He works all week with her and so their bond keeps getting stronger and ours weaker.
I'm frustrated and annoyed because I don't understand how could one get so carried away by some random girl that clearly doesn't want you. I would like to hangout with him before our semester starts, but he'll probably make some stupid excuse up.
Should I still try to hangout with him? Or should I just do my own thing and just see him until our semester starts since we're sharing classes together?
