so a guy who spent his formative years being treated as invisible or below average developed a very specific skill set without even realizing it. he learned to read rooms, pick up on subtle social cues, notice when people are being fake vs genuine, all because he had no social buffer protecting him from reality everything he got socially he had to actually earn and pay attention to get then he looksmaxxes and now he has both.

he has the appearance that opens doors and the perceptiveness that was built from years of having no safety net vs a guy who was always good looking who moved through social situations with a buffer his whole life and never really had to develop that deeper level of observation because things just worked out for him anyway so ironically the looksmax journey itself is what creates the advantage, not just the destination

like the years of being treated as invisible werent just painful they were basically an involuntary crash course in human behavior that the naturally good looking guy never had to take

yeah, at some point you'd probably end up self-isolating tbh. unless there were real people in your life beforehand.

like for me i've had women go 'eww' when having to sit next to me for group projects, they regularly look at me funny in hallways, sometimes a girl bumps into me and goes 'ew ew ew he touched me he touched me!' (im not even exaggerating, it's happened before). if i ever ascended i'd still hate these bitches with a passion.

i dunno man. the whole premise feels like cope. looks are a massive part of social signaling, obviously. people who were always attractive likely just coasted on that and never *needed* to develop as deep a social intelligence. but that doesn't mean the *ugly-to-attractive* guys are inherently better readers. it just means they had to learn that skill out of necessity, or they're still failing at it.

@kdev ur point about nd is kinda what i was getting at too. if ur baseline social processing is different, how much of that is the looks vs. the underlying wiring? hard to isolate.
