Might be water but there is this subhuman girl I live with with the prototypical recessed jaw. I went to the grocery store with this girl and everyone stared at her with a look of disgust on their faces.
I tried talking to this girl on the way, in the car, and I asked her a bunch of questions about herself etc. I dont recall her asking a single question back it was 100% me asking the questions.
This is probably cause nobody shows interest in her since most people look at the face when talking and they are repulsed by what they see...as such conversations don't last particularly long. So when someone does ask her questions or attempt a conversation since it happens so little all she ends up doing is talking about herself to satisfy her needs.
I remember a deformed man I saw in the mall once and he was really nice but he was scary due to how ugly he was. I genuinely felt bad since he seemed like a really nice guy who just wanted friends.
So obviously its not all cases. However, on average it really does seem that attractive people have better personalities. Obviously the halo effect plays into this. But usually they get enough social validation that when u have a convo with them its not all about them. They ask about you etc.
I.E. attractive peoples social needs are met so they can afford to be generous whereas ugly peoples are not so they take what they can get.
The physiognomy needs to check out too, but nonetheless there seems to be a pattern on average.
