[UK] How to get an X-ray scan of my hand at 18

I want to check whether my growth plates are fused or not. I understand the NHS provides this but I am over the age of 18 and have no real reason to get this xray except for just checking my growth plates. I can’t just say im insecure about my height since I am already quite tall. Idk what to say, I lowkey don’t wanna / can’t pay money to get it privately taken so would appreciate any tips

my dad claimed to have been a twink until like 18 and started growing them and reached 6’3, my mums 5’7 and im 6’3 so im hoping if i follow my dads trajectory i continue growing further. Its not even my height i care about idgaf about it, if they are open then there’s a chance my mandible could continue its growth as it is currently very recessed and I plan to hop on gh to aid this process
