Itโs cheaper for them to offshore it but they only do it for repetitive, low-risk or well-documented tasks in builder.ai case was basic dev work. That is why they still hire people like me because some tasks are too critical to give them to someone unqualified. In the long run itโs more efficient and less expensive to pay someone who actually knows what theyโre doing, rather than cut corners and do fire fighting/ damage control later.
