Lwk depends on what u wanna do w ur life. Apparently, da life is kinda dead, meanwhile uni life is some of the best years of a persons life. But obvs there’s the trade-off between being broke and rich during ur degree. App, the da ppl get to go on holiday to other countries during their half term holidays n shi, but their social life is kind of lacking. There’s also the respect factor bc my parents would never let me do a da bc they think it isn’t a real degree and dont think it’s respectable enough. It does depend on the degreee though, which one r u applyiing to?

@alikay mtn. tbh kriegs decision is gonna come down to whether he's already too far gone to mog anyone from uni anyway. if he's already a permanent failo then the apprenticeship is prolly the smarter play. if he still has *some* water and potential then uni could be a slight boost socially, but he'd have to actually make an effort.

No point applying dent w them grades my friend got A*A*A predicted 1900 b3 ucat and got 0/5 offers for dent. If you get at least A*AA apply to biochemistry or biomedical science degrees. Make sure they’re top 10 uk unis tho (e.g. imperial, ucl, kings, Durham, Manchester, Birmingham etc.) otherwise you’re not getting a job

I would more strongly recommend the DAs bc predicted grades don’t rlly matter that much and it’s more holistic. Make sure you do well in the tests and interviews. Also, maybe apply to some bio/chem DAs like GSK, AstraZeneca etc. bc you’ll have a better chance of getting accepted, the finance ones are way too competitive. The pay is good asw and I’m assuming bc u do bio and chem and ur on .org, you’ll find the job more enriching bc it’s literally js drug research. Lmk if you want anymore advice

Isn’t there massive shortages of jobs in this field bro I hear so many people go to biomed and end up completely unemployed even when they go t10 unis

but thats the thing in every field. also, the biopharma industry needs drug research esp now more than ever. theres new diseases like hantavirus and even diseases like cancer and hiv which dont have a cure, so there's always going to be demand for ppl in the field. js because there's shortages doesnt mean its impossible to get a job, its js more competitive and if you go to a t10 uni, get internships, graduate with a first or 2:1, ur guaranteed a job.

a b3 1900 ucat is below average maybe that’s why if he applied to unis that put more emphasis on ucat

Nigga don’t do biomed unless you wanna be broke I’d say do finance/law with those grades u can go to a solid Russel group uni like kcl get into a silver circle law firm and be earning 50k on your first year then be earning 100k+

this guys right, u could do that but ur gna have to get somewhat decent grades to make it into a solid russel group for finance/law. make sure u get a star in econ (since thats ur only essay subject) and at least As in bio and chem.

I didn't go to one, I did an apprenticeship

But I visited a lot of london unis through friends and there are many good looking people there it's not easy
