You buy tea bags or a powder that you put in a strainer.

It should look like this

You don't stir it in like coffee, tea powder doesn't dissolve. That's why you use tea bags.

I haven't made tea using leaves like that, but I'm certain you don't pour it in the cup you like coffee powder.

Get something like this

Put the leaves inside it and run boiling water through the strainer into the cup. Once the cup is full, place the strainer on top of the cup and let the water absorb as much of the flavor from the leaves for a couple of minutes.

Use a spoon to hold the leaves down if they float to the top.

Second, we need to know how you are making it. I think in Western countries you guys use those pot infusers alot? Fill the middle with tea and let it all seep out into the water= usually takes less than 10 mins

Some places over here we use a pan, if that's the case just put in tea at the bottom, water and then boil them together. You can tell if it's done by the color.

You described a tea that is very watered down, so maybe you didn't use enough leaves and too much water.

Still can't manage? Then just use a teabag tbh
