In a dilemma rn. Heres the story:

I was originally going to a 6th form where I would be in a nice area and around high class people. They wouldn't let me do an a level I wanted because I got shafted by my teachers and got downgraded, so I had to go to another sixth form.

Now this 6th form is decent but I honestly hate it. You don't wear a suit either and I look at all the other kids from 6th form who do wear suits and I envy them. I hate my 6th form, the teachers, the people, my subjects. Its full of pakis and Somalians, but there are still a lot of white people. I can't make any friends and I just don't like it.


Maybe I dont like it because I don't have any friends but idk. I even dreamt last night about going to another fucking 6th form and when I woke up I got upset because it was a dream and not reality.

If I do go to the other 6th form, I'd have different subjects apart from economics so I'd have to catch up on only two weeks worth of work. Id also have to buy a suit and shoes quite fast, get used to the route to the 6th form and get used to the whole 6th form and their system.


Now the problem is my father. He has been trying to give me advice on making friends and stuff and he even said to me today that you won't like college for the next two years because you won't have any friends. Id have to be very good at persuading him to even think about letting me switch. I have no clue what to say to him either. Honestly I don't know what to do, I know some ukcels here changed 6th forms so I'm hoping something good comes out of this

Ngl bro you have two options and it's up to you decide, I'll give you my two cents.

Option 1, stay at your current school, mog the ethnic minorities and be able to fashion maxx more effectively. If you're struggling to make friends just football/rugby max and even if you're shit you'll pick up some bros.

Option 2, change to another school, tbh I don't see how this would change your situation in terms of friends (you can always pm to give me a clearer idea though) however I would point out that missing 2 weeks of lower 6th is pretty much nothing and the work is piss easy at that point so don't be concerned about that.

I'd honestly think just in terms of ease option 1 mogs, but then again idk how bad you're finding it - so just do what you want tbh, you've got nothing to lose really. Also always remember that social life should have higher priority than academic life brocel.

2 weeks of work is nothing. Especially the first 2 weeks, it will just be refresher stuff from GCSE.

Go to whichever 6th form sounds more appealing to you. Time is of the essense though, you don't have long to switch sixth forms. Also wearing casual clothing > wearing suits. If you have shit fashion uniform may be preferable.

Have you actually tried making friends with the people at your college? From your post history it just sounded like your just isolated yourself from day one. You have been there two weeks, your not going to be best friends with anyone in such a short timeframe.

Just attach yourself to a group of people that are in your class then befriend them.

I wore velcro shoes and had a blazer 2 sizes too big for me. Also I had terrible cystic acne in year 12...
