British society is extremely divided class wise and it makes it harder for us to climb to the top esp if you're born working class. I've noticed the middle class and upper class keep to themselves; their networks from private schools, tutors, family friends, accents and prestige universities that make them completely alienated from working class ppl.
How hard do you reckon it is to assimilate into the upper middle class society (as an ethnic)?
@Gaia262 tagging u bc u went to a good uni and have a decent job.

You have to dress well and not act like a you, be capable of decently high iq conversation, then you cam climb socially.

Biggest failo for lower classcels in UK is that they banter 24/7 way too much, rarely talk about anything seriously. A bit too much 'Happy Chappy', which just isnt cool.

Yeah, dressing good and looking good is essential. Aside from that, I think having cultural awareness is important too. Stuff like table manners, wine, art and whatnot.

if you don't fit the image associated with the middle class you won't be accepted in their social circles or social spaces.

Being ethnic, especially an ugly ethnic is not congruent with the image of the English middle classes. Regardless of whatever qualifications, accent , wealth that you have, no one will bother to get to know you to realize what you have, they already made their mind up.

Alot of ethnics make it financially as their business takes off, their house prices shoot up, they inherit money. However, they fail to fit the image so are excluded and will face hostility in English middle class spaces regardless of achievements.

This girl could of gone to a shit university and have no wealth yet she will be able to fit in their social spaces.

Whereas this guy could be a software engineer with his own company, his own house , graduated from Durham University , dress well.

He won't be accepted.

There is a difference between being economically middle class and socially middle class.

You really need the wealth, image and social aspect to truly make it.

Yes, I was referring to being socially middle class. I think the best course of action is to get a good paying job and spend as much of your disposable income as you can improving your looks. Also, do u think whitemaxxing (skin lightening/having eurocentric features) is essential to fitting into these circles or can you get away with being a gl ethnic like Rishi Sunak?

Why do you even want to fit in with them? I find their lives boring and pretentious, like watching kids role playing trying to be some character

You are just buying into a fantasy and will end up dissapointed even if you do make it.

I legit don't give a shit about their culture. Most are just posers.

I just want to belong somewhere.. i was born Muslim but now atheist and never related or got along with the SA community. I suppose it gives me an end goal, something to look forward to: assimilation. Escaping my shitty situation and inferiority to blend in. I will feel worthy if I get to belong somewhere esp to a somewhat powerful group.

They ain't shit most of them. Most are just posers, you are buying into a fantasy.

If you want a goal, own your own company, own your own house, have multiple sources of incomes. Look good, have good health, have a good happy family, have fun, enjoy life.

These should really be your priority. Not fitting in with shitty white people that will keep you as their ethnic spit bucket. Doing things you don't want to do just to fit an image.

The reality is you will never fit in with them long term nor will you fit in with your SA culture.

You will be floating in the middle, you will either become some outcast or an accomplished man who is above all of this.

You cannot ingratiate yourself in middle class social circles unless you are MM tier GL. I went to a secondary school with lots of upper middle class rugby boys, Stacie's and even some middle class that looked incel. As a white working class Brit I didn't even get a look in, no matter what I did. They did not allow anyone who was not either mm tier GL and super trendy, with perfect social skills or super rich and white to hang with them.

Class divides is just a reality of life. It doesnt matter if your in the UK or somewhere else in the world.

As for assimilating into the UK elites going to oxbridge is a way to do this. You first have to obtain the money/status to enter elitle circles. Ideally you also have a posh accent and are not deathnic.

Why do you care though? Get rich for your own sake, not to lick the boots of posh people.

Yeah you're right. I went to a well off suburban secondary school and most of the people there were chadlite/chad and stacylite/stacies with a couple normies or uggos. I don't know where the meme about British people being ugly came from.
I guess some doors just close after you're born.
