Yeah thats another conclusion. In that case, I think USA should send platforms and systems that can allow Ukraine to strike deep into the territory. They are gonna get tortured anyway. Might as well do it while targeting key infra and civilians

I can see Trump doing this.
Everything for him is a face saving operation.

Walking away would make him look weak.

I think the end situation will be Trump “withdrawing” from the conflict nominally but selling arms to Ukraine via Europe instead and continued intelligence sharing.

The Russians on artillery alone produce three times more than the US and Europe put together.

This is readily admitted by the Ukrainians themselves.

they can make a decent amount of shells but their production of complex equipment is laughable they cannot replace their lost tanks planes and armored fighting vehicles and as time goes by the Ukrainians have more time to mine their territory and build defenses and the aid from Europe doesn't seem to be stopping anytime soon so the Russians will no longer be able to advance long term.
