🚨Ultimate Fragranceguide from an actual fragrancehead🚨(Smellcells and everyone else GTFIH)🚨🚨

So guys, first of all: ANY PERFUME IS BETTER THAN NO PERFUME. Only 23% of men wear cologne regularly, scent is a genre you can mog more than 75% of men if you are into peacocking (height is the ultimate move to peacock, so stop coping and get a nice perfume).

Get that shit in your head, fragrance always smells good (as long as you're not a crazy fragrancehead and wear perfumes that smell like caviar or musty toes) and can be a great conversation starter.

FIRST: DON'T FORGET TO SHOWER ONCE A DAY, PFEFERRABLY TWICE. You want your fragrance to project alone, not mixed with the smell of your sweaty neck.

So, I will break it down three types of those who want to smell very masculine, those who go for the prettyboy type and normies, who just want to fit in. I will break them down into the best ones for seasons and into price. Niche perfumes will not be covered in this thread.

To all the normies: If you're still rocking One Million or Dior Sauvage, don't throw it away but there are better alternatives who'll give you a bit more edge and will put you one step above all the other normies. Only repurchase if it totally works for you, otherwise go for Non-Normie fragrances.

All fragrances will have good longevity, NEVER buy a perfume that doesn't perform. If it performs only half as strong, it will essentially be double as expensive since you have to respray. Only exception is if it costs like 10 bucks.

Spring:
Masculine:
Cheap: Rasasi Hawas for Men, Taylor of old Bond Street Sandalwood
Mid Price: Terre d'Hermes
Prettyboy:
Cheap: Rasasi Daarej Pour Homme
Mid Price: Dior Homme Sport
Normie:
Cheap: Perry Ellis 360 Red
Mid Price: Prada L'Homme, Versace Dylan Blue

Summer:
Masculine:
Cheap: Versace Blue Jeans, Kappa Vibrant Men
Mid Price: Bleu de Chanel EdP, Carolina Herrera Chic for Men
Prettyboy:
Cheap: Armaf Club de Nuit Intense Man (EdT, EdP or Limited Edition)
Mid Price: Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme
Normie:
Cheap: Fakhar Lattafa Man
Mid Price: Versace Eros, Prada Luna Rossa Carbon

Fall:
Masculine:
Cheap: Milton-Lloyd The Man Cobalt, Puig Quorum, Arrogance pour Homme
Mid Price: Chanel Egoiste
Prettyboy:
Cheap: Al Haramain Détour Nior, Milton-Lloyd Bondage Hommes
Mid Price: Guerlain L'Homme Idéal, Terre d'Hermes
Normie:
Cheap: Route 66 The Road to Paradise is rough (Performance is weak, need to take a diffuser with you to reapply)
Mid Price: Gisada Ambassador for Men, Moschino Toy Boy,

Winter:
Masculine:
Cheap: Milton-Lloyd The Man Silver, Bentley for Men Intense, Lapidus pour Homme (Black Extreme)
Mid Price: Chanel Antaeus, Hermes H24, Guerlain Heritage
Prettyboy:
Cheap: Lattafa Khamrah, Ard Al Zaafaran Khashab Al Oudh
Mid Price: Dior Homme Intense, Mancera Red Tobacco
Normie:
Cheap: Lalique encre Noire
Mid Price: Prada Luna Rossa Black,

Note that most cheap perfumes I listed are dupes, but sometimes the performance is better than the original. Also, most prettyboy fragrances are rather unisex or have a slight feminine touch.

One more thing: Every fragrance is cheap, depending on the situation. Every pump is about 0,1ml of fragrance and if you're going for the Jeremy Fragrance spray routine (5 sprays) twice a day you will use 1ml of fragrance. This means: Even a Chanel perfume costs about 1$ a day, lasts 3 months and brutally moggs every drugstore perfume.

I think every listed cologne for normies is blindbuy-safe. If you're unsure about the other fragrances, there are a lot of websites that sell samples. Rather pay 15$ for 5ml than 100$ for 50ml if the scent is not for you.

Also, last rule of thumb: You can also wear most spring colognes in summer and fall, most summer colognes in spring, most fall fragrances in spring and winter and most winter colognes in fall, all depends on the weather. There is no big difference between different the categories of spring and summer fragrances, especially between masculine and normie.

2 bonus tips:

- ALWAYS CHECK PERFORMANCE AND DUPES ONLINE on websites like fragrantica.com, don't get fooled in store by the smell if it only lasts for 2h. They are literally on the page of the fragrance you're looking for. Can save you a lot of money.

- For special occasions like weddings and birthdays with many females, you should go all out and ball like a mfer. Get a perfume sample that fits the situation from of Brands like Nishane, PdM, Roja, TF, Tauer, Xerjoff etc. 5ml will cost you like 50-70$ but you will stand out from all the others for the price of 2 BigMacs.

Conclusion:
One last argument for all you stinky mfers:

So why are different fragrances needed for different seasons?
Spring/Summer fragrances are mostly fresh and light and Fall/Winter are mostly dark and heavy.

Aquatiq scents won't do you any good in Winter while boozy scents can be suffocating in summer heat

You dont need more than two, you can wear the same fragrance for spring/summer and the same frag for fall/winter. Fragrancecels just need to justify spending hundreds on niche perfumes so they pretend you need one cologne for the gym, another for parties, another for a full moon on a leap year, etc.

NO WAY Rasasi is shit. Hawas has crazy performance for an easy fresh scent and Daarej smells like Vanilla Sugar on my skin with solid projection, 40$ and 25$ each for 100ml is a no brainer if you're getting into fragrances

Said in the post that you can combine spring/summer and fall/winter. Don't think you can wear fragrances like PdM pegasus in fall though but that's too complicated for an essential breakdown.
But you called me out, I have a fragrance for gym in spring/summer and fall/winter, one for skiing, one for confidence boost, one for summer events outdoor, one for talking to clients and many more 😭😭

I haven't smelled those ones but I bought Al Wisam Day because it was described as a SMW dupe with rose notes, and it is one of the worse fragrances I've ever tried. I just assume that arabic fragrances are a meme now

Smelled Hawas once and it was very close to Invictus but with a bit more edge. Sad for you but 35$ for a blind buy fail is alright. SMV has drugstore performance which is actually crazy atleast you didn't buy that.
There are a few fragrances from Armaf, Al Haramain and Lattafa that are great but many misses aswell. Wanted to try Dua Brand but their prices are close to original, just way better performance. Did you ever try?

Celine Nightclubbing is on my list, is it good? Heard you need to be 30+ to wear it. L'immensite doesn't sound too interesting for LV prices 😒

i reiceive them at end of month,

got them cheaper, like for the LV 190 euro and nighclubbing 110.

idk L'immensité and rose du vent seems the only good, and from celine Reptile/Black tie/ Nightclubbing seems the goat too.

but at the end i think im going to stuck too Noir extreme.

Could've told people to get Roja AMD for $300 as a spring fragrance but that won't work.

It's a beginners thread, creating it was hard because of the types of people (I don't identify myself with 2/3) and prices (only 2 mentioned cheapies are in my rotation). Getting a tiktok dupe for 20 bucks is a good investment as long as you know which one

You can dm me if you need niche suggestions 😘

Not a bad guide tbh OP, but it's almost like u went too central. Your mascs are not giga masc and ur prettyboy are not giga prettyboy, but I guess u were going for wider appeal.

Yeah somewhat, that's why I gave a normie option too. I also don't wear most of them anymore but I can't recommend blind buying something like Althaïr even though I personally prefer it 🤞🏼
