I. What T3 does
T3 is a thyroid hormone produced by the thyroid gland, its responsible for regulating your metabolism and energy production.
It helps control the speed at which the body uses energy, how it produces proteins, and how sensitive the body is to other hormones,
Your body naturally produces T3, and its levels are essential for maintaining proper metabolic functions, so stop being a pussy.
Taking T3 can is used to treat hypothyroidism (an underactive thyroid), improving energy, metabolism, and overall body function. If you OD however, it can lead to symptoms of hyperthyroidism, like increased heart rate and anxiety, take the dose i recommend and you wont have to worry about ts.

I. What T4 does
T4 is also a hormone produced by the thyroid gland. It's a precursor to T3, that means your body converts T4 into the more active form, T3, as needed.
Most of the thyroid hormone in your body is in the form of T4, When you take it, your body converts the extra T4 into the active T3, which regulates metabolism.
The ratio between T3 and T4 is typically around 1:20 in terms of concentration in the bloodstream. So they do the same its just that T4 is a precursor and T3 is the active form so to speak.

I. How it helps w/ leanmaxxing
Thyroid hormone speeds up the body's metabolism, which is the process of converting food into energy. When metabolism is faster, the body burns more calories, including fat stores, even at rest. Higher levels of T3 encourage fat cells to release stored fat by increasing lipolysis (the breakdown of fat). It promotes the oxidation of fatty acids, helping your body to use fat as energy. Also while im on it, I have a noticeably lower appetite.

I. Doses

Week 1-2:

  • T3: Start at 25 mcg/day (once in the morning).
  • T4: Start at 50 mcg/day (once in the morning).

Week 3-4:

  • T3: Increase to 37.5 mcg/day (could be 25 mcg in the morning and 12.5 mcg in the afternoon).
  • T4: Increase to 75 mcg/day (once in the morning).

Week 5-6:

  • T3: Increase to 50 mcg/day (once in the morning or divided doses).

supplementing T4 is pointless if you aren't having enough selenium and zinc in order to convert it to T3 which instead converts the T4 to RT3
