Underbite makes you not recessed

I feel like having an underbite makes your chin project more, well in my case that's what it did. My chin projection is ideal and very strong but I have an underbite and I feel like if had an over bite, logically my chin would be less projected since my lower teeth are not projected too far. If you look online crazy underbite cases, they all have abnormal strong chin projections too. There is definitely a correlation between both

yup, except it’s the opposite for me. my mid face recession leads to an underbite look.

Recession is all relative

If you have an underbite your maxilla is recessed in comparison to your jaw and for overbite vice versa

You can have a perfectly aligned bite aswell which is recessed relative to your eyes aswell
