underbite treatment

contacted a few orthos and most of em told me ill need a djs to fix my underbite except the one ortho thats considered the best in my city makes articles about orthodontics yada yada
he told me that he can fix it by doing the dental compensation method
so his plan is to 1. bring my upper jaw/maxilla as forward as possible, expand it (he told me ill prolly need not one expander but two) 2. delete my wisdom teeth at the bottom jaw and place braces on them
he told me that my smile wont be perfect becasue my teeth will meet at an angle or smth and my chin will still be huge but it should fix the bite
i dont really consider djs because i am scared of retards who would pull my mandible way too far back and turn me into an even worse ogre (+ they said its not guaranteed that ill get it fo free from the government)

will his plan absolutely cook me or nah
