Many will hate it, but talk to Christian missionaires, that hand out pampleths near train stations.
No, they won't yell at you for not joining their church, they won't ask for personal details, besides your first name.
It is good for several reasons:
1. They will never reject the conversation outright, talking to strangers is their mission
2. They are usually nice and polite, even if their rheotoric is aggressive
3. You can leave the conversation at any time
4. You have an immediate topic to start with, no awkward small talk about the weather
I did it a bunch of times and never regretted it, though I'm sure some perceived me as annoying. But it's pretty much irrelevant, cause they are likely to distrust anyone, who isn't part of their group. You do not have to take it personally.
