First of all theres no formal education pathway for aesthetic surgery so any knowledge gained comes from reading and viewing successful/botched threads and seeing results posted. Like how 90% of this section was against filler few months ago and fearmongered migration (which never actually happens to us btw) until a few good results came out and now the narrative is completely flipped. Same thing with bimax 1 year ago you post your class 1 face and everyone was screaming at you to get bimax just imagine how many incels wasted 30k for nothing but chimp lips. Not to mention how surgeons have obvious financial incentives to emphasize positive outcomes on their websites and in consultations while not even mentioning their revision rates at the minimum. After getting surgery I realize I was wrong about so many things and wish I could take many opinions back. Sadly the people on this section that haven't had surgery vastly outnumber the amount that do

Nah, if anything people on here eventually dream too low instead of too high. After a while on here your dreams get crushed. I used to dream that just bimax would make me very good looking, when I first got set up for it. After a few months here I realize now that even doing like 5-6 surgeries would only move me up from mid tier subhuman to high tier subhuman max. Being here just completely ruins all your hopes, you realize there is no ascension and surgery changes almost nothing - except for the 1/1000000000 where the stars align

Another mistake is assuming because someone has received a surgery it then makes them an expert on the subject matter, which when you think about it is kind of ridiculous.

If someone gets a bimax it gives them experience of the procedure being performed on them, recovery and their results etc but it doesn't suddenly make them an expert on the actual technical parts of a bimax and how it relates to aesthetics and so on. That's what you acquire through years of professional training and actually, you know, doing the bimaxes on hundreds of patients ranging all different cases.

I've had a ching wing done on me (and a couple of other things), and know a lot about the procedure, especially from people contacting me over the years to discuss their chin wings. But anything I have to say is basically worthless compared to the actual surgeons who actually do these procedures day-in day-out.

Fully agree, getting a procedure doesn’t mean you are knowledgeable on the procedure automatically.

I agree but I still advise people to only take feedback from those who have hardmaxxed. There will usually be at least something you can take from them. Everyone else is just regurgitating information
