We’ve all probably seen a BP edit online, and some of you might even consider yourselves blackpillers. But most people don’t fully understand what BP is about.The Black Pill originates from “The Manosphere,” a network of communities (like the looksmaxxing community) where topics such as dating, power, and social dynamics are discussed. Initially, there were two pills—the Red Pill and the Blue Pill, inspired by The Matrix. Later, other pills were added, one of which is the Black Pill.
Ideology
The ideology of BP is simple but often misunderstood. Many think it’s about recognizing societal unfairness, like “It’s not about hating the unattractive; it’s about what the world does.” But in reality, it’s more brutal: BP is primarily about genetics.If you are tall and have a good face, you will generally succeed in life. If not, the ideology suggests that no amount of gym work, money, or effort can fully compensate. Success, according to BP, is largely predetermined by your genes.
