Let's just say you little Jimmy want to now become a politician. You have absolutely zero talent, no real vision, no understanding of the policies and no desire to do the hard work of actually fixing anything so what do you do to win the voters and get some power. You play vote bank politics. The ultimate shortcut. The dirtiest and most successful playbook in history.
Instead of trying to build schools, fixing the economy, or change policies. Just look at the population slice them up into some demographic groups pick a target and keep nailing the point home again and again. The group doesn't matter it can be based on caste, religion, or race. Just play on the deepest fears and find a victim someone to sacrifice. You don't just pick a group, you convince them that their entire identity, culture, or livelihood is on the verge of being wiped out by the other. Framing the election as a matter of literal survival.
And then declare. Fuck those niggers. I'm the only shield youโve got against those savages here are some freebies and exclusive promises just for your group no one else if you stick with me and done. You have a group of loyalists just like that who will vote for you purely based on survival instincts. It's a tale as old politics itself. Give the people what they want. A hero, a villain, a cause and a story.
It's rawest form happens in conservative religious third world countries with large developing economies like India, Turkey, Indonesia, Brazil through caste, community, class and religious lines but the exact same software runs on different hardware in every country in the world even in the west, in the most developed countries in 2026
But the different is a lot more discrete and the elites know this. Openly naming a religion or a race gets you cancelled, so the threat got laundered into respectable language. Same scapegoat machine but better PR. Infidels becomes incompatible, Heretics becomes extremists etc
People keep falling for it again and again because it's one heck of a story and who doesn't love good story but once you see the shape, you can't unsee it and that includes seeing it in the politicians you used to like
