I was researching methods of reversing myopia and found this study that shows people with chronic ocular hypertension achieving reduced axial length of the eyes after returning to normal interocular pressure for two years:
https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S2451993623001974

So I figured that somehow getting my hands on some prescription IOP reduction eye drops would possibly be a viable method of deepening the eyes, it may also be possible to get faster results if you over-use it because the people in the study are returning to NORMAL fluid retention in the eyes, using it more to have slightly less than normal could probably speedrun the results idk.

Considering that a lot of us under the age of 25-30 have some form of elongated eyes due to screen usage/blue light exposure from young ages, this could be a very effective softmaxx.

I would have no idea how to acquire these drugs though, maybe indiamart or some other website that ships these types of prescription pharmaceuticals from 3rd world countries, maybe accutanecels in here would know.

lowering iop wont make your eyes deeper, its not visible externally. in fact, prostaglandin analogs (like latanoprost) can cause periorbital fat atrophy

please read better, i literally linked a study showing that reduced IOP leads to reduced axial length, and stated it in the post myself

i read the whole thing, thats why i referenced latanoprost. axial lenght has close to none visible effects. if its gonna do sth then fuck up your periorbital fat vol

wouldn't reduced axial length mean that the eye protrudes less out of the skull? isnt the whole point of deep set eyes that they dont stick out of the skull? definitely will effect the way your eye area looks in side profiles if not from frontal view.

yeah, no. axial length refers to the distance from the front of the cornea to the back of the retina, and a change of couple mm is microscopic, because you dont reduce only the anterior segment being from cornea to lens. in short, if you want your eyes to protrude less theres minimal work you can do without hardmaxxing
