Uni dining hall experience

Sometimes you’ll have ur friends eat with u if their schedule lines up

But most of the time you’re trying to find a spot where you can hide and not be in the open

A little booth in the corners of the room and in the back are ideal

Everyone’s scrolling or doing whatever on their phones, usually eating alone

The same fried goop sloop with MSG and whatever stuff

Then you got like 2 tables with a huge friend group chopping it up and laughing

You pull out your laptop to be productive but ur not getting much done tbf. Just crumbs on ur keyboard.

U see some familiar faces, hoping to get their attention, hoping they might notice you to sit down with you

Maybe they do, then u realize how little connection you have besides having the same class

“Broo class was mad confusing”

“Yeah man I didn’t understand anything today”

“…………..”

Silence. Now you scroll on your phone to distract yourself. They do the same.

“Alright imma head out. See you.”

“See you.”

Thats it. Ur kinda full anyway, so you think about wrapping it up too. Just stalling before your acquaintance gets far away, so it’s not awkward.

Ye. Thats about it. Depressing? A little. Just how it is tho. Even hmtns arent safe.

i was lucky in my old school i heavy larped normie interests when i was approached randomly so some guys got me into their "friend group"
so i didn't have to look like a lonely and outcasted autist

not really the case anymore

And the dining hall food is only good as it’s convenient. Pretty bad tho. Oil, and bland taste and same old same old

Though it for sure varies on ur uni it can be super bad or super good but usually nothing special

Right. From what I observed and like know and just in my experience so far, it’s usually:

Hs friends
Roommates
Classmates

But maybe most often friend of a friend
