I am 18 right now and I have to start uni in 1-2 months but I don't feel like it is for me and I also think I can do better without going there.
I am getting CS branch under top 50 Uni in my country.


Should I go or not ?

You don't really have to be passionate about CS so don't worry if you don't "feel" like it's for you. As long as you're not retarded you'll be fine if you apply yourself.

Uni is pretty enjoyable if you have friends. CS girls are pretty cute and nerdy as well so lots of girlfriend potential, but there aren't that many of them. Most guys are smelly af, really inexcusable since I made dean's list last semester despite keeping up with basic hygeine. I hate the vast majority of engineering majors tbh, a bunch of retarded virgins the lot

It is pretty hard here to get a job without a degree and they will only pay you good amount if you are from top unis, I have done few internships and the maximum they pay is 300-400 $ a month for 35-40 hours a week. By corporate I mean I want to do something for myself.

I think after listening your thoughts i should join uni for my backup in 4 years I will try to do something if that fails corporate is my last option

I included VIT in options.but It's a top 7 NIT. I think VIT is more diverse in terms of foids and the crowd is pretty big so I am still thinking

But I will say not to drop out at all as you'll be networking with so many people and have an opportunity to connect with others
Also it's the time of your life when you can get girls far more easy as uni is filled with prime girls .
For the money aspect there are many ways besides jobs to do so , also what college you in ?
If it was top 10 then I would say to go for any field for the mere exposure , top 50 of a country especially India isnt that big of a brag .

As i said i Get neetbux from the state. Also had some success sports betting this last year winning 10k usd. I am covered. I am 29 years old now.

I also think that networking will be easy but when it comes to girls I don't think it can help me much because top engineering unis of india are highly competitive and girls to boys ratio is 3:10 and 99% of them are ugly nerds.
I have options to join unis under top 20 but situation of girls are worse in those. Maybe it isn't a thing to brag about those on international level but it is a pretty big deal in India.
I have an upcoming exam if I clear that maybe I can get into top 10.

I know it does. But uni really fucked over my health and in turn looks. I cant imagine How wageslaving would do to me. I cant sleep whatsoever if i know i have to go somewhere the next day.

CS for Uni is a waste of time. Everything I've learnt I learnt by myself. No need for uni and a degree in IT
