Universal experience of the sub 5 balding middle aged co worker

I feel like this is a universal experience with anyone who has worked a job in their teens. Everyone’s first job has the middle aged sub 5 co worker that just carries an aura of complete defeat almost like a walking corpse. It’s so brutal to see as a young kid the thought of ending up like that is literally traumatizing. I never asked him but it was pretty obvious he was single had no friends/social life most likely never had a girlfriend or even a single foid show interest in him his whole life. Plus he got bullied every day at work by 20 year olds who got to go home and fuck their gfs while he goes home and rots alone drinking and eating slop in front of the tv. So fucking brutal man.

Literally my life rn working in retail but I'm 24
