Unironically this could be a better system than what we have had for the past 50 years. Instead of people abusing government programs like welfare and social security and spending their money on backwoods cigars and liquor, we could have a universal 1000 bucks a month and if you spend it on something stupid instead of food and healthcare then you dont get anything extra. And then maybe big earners like people who make more than 50,000 a year would get less than a thousand a month. It could work but they will probably fuck it up
