You need at least a 50 mm telephoto lens to avoid distortion of your facial features. Most phone front cameras come nowhere close to that, iphones have around 23 mm focal lenght. So you know where this is going. Iphone pro rear cameras with triple cameras don’t distort your features if you take it from a reasonable distance, so those are pretty much accurate. But it’s still a photo, you look better in motion.

With the exception of some very unlucky 1 percenters, everyone looks better at a low-ish body fat (10-15 percent). Not only would your face look more angular, but you’ll have more vascularity, clothes will look better on you ect ect.

Not to mention the fact that even if you’re planning on get surgeries if recessed, you’ll still need to see your base at a low BF to truly evaluate.

Even people with relatively high bodyfat will be able to tell if they have decent bone structure. The biggest lie they told us is that leanmaxxing could reveal good bones under what was thought to have been bad.
