Until how much money are you okay with not splitting with friends as a grown ass man?

I don’t know who hurt you but if I get you a Diet Coke from a vending machine while I’m getting something for myself yeah I’m paying for you too out of convenience and no I will not accept any money from you to split it with me as a grown ass man.

In fact regardless of how rich or broke you are many people have a mental threshold of till how much you are just ok with spending on a friend when you are out - my personal threshold is $8. Which means I could pay for one beer at max and never even bother asking that money back and I insist to not accept it even if you pay me.

A decent restaurant $70 dinner bill when out with the boys yeah we are mostly splitting everything equally (not by what you ate but rather just overall bill equally, if you split by what you ate that’s dead broke ) .
