Upcoming double jaw surgery, will I look better?

I am not really active in this community, and didnt even know about it when I did all the prep for my surgery (year of braces). But I have seen a lot of people in the LM community wanting double jaw surgery. I'm getting my maxilla pushed forward and my chin moved back. Its not by much, maybe 4mm total movement, so 2 each way. Will this make my appearance look better? Is there anything I should ask for from the surgeon/ do after the operation to help with that. Thanks
