Update on my family situation: my parents made an agreement with my sister to not live with us permanently anymore

My sister has been feeling uneasy for the past couple of days.

Mum told me that she has been grounded this summer, and when she goes back to uni this September, she is only allowed to come home for a short period of time during the holidays, but not for the summer term and should find a job in her uni town instead, away from us, because dad said "she clearly wanted a different life like those white people with no guidance in their life like the ones on Love Island" and "doesn't accept her father for who he is, and openly denying where he came from". They both said they are slowly trying to distance themselves away from her.

Mum said she'll still be with us this summer but wouldn't be allowed to stay with us permanently when she graduates uni. She will have to find a house to share with some others in her uni town and look for a job there.

I love my sister and I feel guilty but at the end of the day she needed discipline. I'm pretty shocked at their decision though.

The typical bs of 'looks dont matter' and having me dressed/groomed as cheap as possible. Looking like a beta-nerd cuck with 0 sex-appeal.

Growing up in a typical western environment where my peers start hooking up since 14yo, while you are rejected. There has never been a good reason for me to agree with my family's views/lifestyle since it offered me only disadvantages, nothing to gain.

For me, doing what they wanted, lead to social suicide. Which has been extremely detrimental to my social life, mental health and as a consequence, also my future carreer/dating perspectives.

In the end it's about deciding what you think is best for you. For you and your sister, those were different things. You both have different experiences, different brain-wiring and therefore different ideas of what kind of life you want to live.

My brother kept with my parents lifestyle mostly. He finished medschool at 3PSL, virgin at 26yo. Now he is working/learning to become a trauma surgeon. He recently got a 3PSL fat girlfriend and works 60 hours a week. I know that he hates his life though, he told me, but he copes with some forms of luxury/wealth which we were never given by our cheapskate parents in our youth. Going to restaurants every week, etc.

For me, I have distanced myself from my family and am now basically an orphan. The rest of my family was never close to me, and after having to leave my parents/brother behind, I don't have any family left. It's a very mentally unhealthy situation to not have a support network like that.

I hope you can be supportive to your sister even if you disagree with her and even if your family is distancing themselves from her.
