Update on my journey to become a teacher

It's official, I have a placement for my internship! I just need to do some administration work but it's gonna be easy. It's mandatory to have an internship for each year, at least in Dutch universities. In the United States, they only start student teaching in the final year. I start student teaching next semester! Let's go, boys.

I honestly have no idea. Teachers don't get paid a lot but I'm doing it because it's something I see myself doing. And actually liking it.

In Netherlands pay is very good.. many people told me if you don't want to go to US. I should do research work as a ML PhD scholar in Netherlands

Yeah. They don’t really let us teach older students yet. Because they are being prepped to go to college. So, they should be taught by experienced teachers. Makes sense.

Not sure yet, but either the 7th, 8th or 9th. 10th, 11th and 12th grades are only for experienced teachers with a master’s degree; and not for any student teachers.

Als stagiair zou ik nog weinig voor je kunnen betekenen omdat de hoofddocent (dus van wie je les krijgt) de leiding heeft. Wel verrassend dat je een 4 staat, ik had minstens een 6 verwacht. Waar heb je moeite mee? Misschien dat ik je kan helpen.

Als stagiair zou ik nog weinig voor je kunnen betekenen omdat de hoofddocent (dus van wie je les krijgt) de leiding heeft. Wel verrassend dat je een 4 staat, ik had minstens een 6 verwacht. Waar heb je moeite mee? Misschien dat ik je kan helpen.

Met de docent ze heeft één dikke kont,niet normaal zeg ik kan niet focussen op de les door haar maar ze legt toch niks uit.Mijn spreekvaardigheid is best wel oke maar ik maak veel grammatica fouten

Daar gaat het uiteindelijk om: baankansen. Alhoewel het wel zou helpen om een gezellige studie te hebben. Ik deed als eerst verpleegkunde en dat was echt gezellig. Wellicht de gezelligste opleiding die ik ooit heb gedaan, alleen nooit afgerond. Na een maand gestopt. Mijn beste vriend heeft een AD in bouwkunde. Ben de officiële naam kwijt. Ik keek net op de site van Hogeschool Rotterdam maar het staat er niet tussen.

Haha it’s less about IQ and more about finishing my bachelor’s and then choosing to go for a master’s degree. I’m not sure if I will, but we’ll see.
