There's a good reason why 4chan moderators, not the jannies, banned VPN and mobile hotspot IP ranges from posting anything. They need a solid IP address cinched to your post for judicial and warrant purposes.

I do know without a doubt the admin and moderators need to know your location at all times, thus your IP address. This is very concerning because they advertise themselves as "anon" and thus anonymous users yet they need to know your identification.

I really don't care if it's run by "THE OTHER GOVERNMENT AGENCY" or the KGI, CCP, fucking Ronald McDonald house, I don't give a shit if they're setting "slippers" up or seeking patsies for their DEEPTHROAT operations.
