Half of the appliance sizes in the BOTB thread have become unavailable over the years.

The links don't work and they're no longer searchable on the website, seems like they were either deleted or set to private.

The 9.5cm size was missing yet i needed it, I found the 9cm one doesn't stretch my mouth wide enough and the 10cm one doesn't fit at all as it's too big, so i decided to take matters into my own hands and design a new one.

So if anyone also needed this it's now effectively re-available. To put it simply this was done by importing the 9cm design, splitting it in half and adding a 0.5cm spacer between the two sides or "arms".

If other sizes are needed i can make them as well. LMK

--> I was also considering designing 0.25cm size increments (8.75, 9.25 etc.) although this is quite case specific and most won't need these.

If you don't know how to print them:

Download (as STL file), search up an online 3D printing service in your country, upload file there and they will print and ship it to you.

For anyone who printed the original 10cm appliance and found it slightly too big you may want to opt for this 9.75cm one i've just made. If in doubt just put the 10cm appliance in your mouth and measure by how much it doesn't fit and from that you can decide which of the 9.5cm or 9.75cm options would be more suitable.

Determining which size you need is kind of tricky. You could base it off of lip size at rest (measured from corner to corner) so for example my lips are small (4.4cm) and i have been using the 9cm one and will be trying the 9.5cm soon however everyone has different levels of elasticity and some small lips may be able to stretch enough to fit in an appliance that some larger lips might struggle with.

if you can manage try stretching your lips as far apart as you can and then measuring between them, this will admittedly be a hard task unless you have three hands, but it will also give you a very clear idea of what appliance size to go for. If you don't want to do that then i would just order a couple sizes to be sure, many people in the original thread said they started with the 9cm one, also the more you stretch your mouth the more it will of course be able to fit the larger sizes, So you can effectively "progress" through them.

wont ts cause wrinkles?

Just to make sure the goal of this is to increase your lip width but wouldn't it just make them sag as they increase in width?
Can someone actively using this document their experience?

I wanted to try but have two questions :
1. Is there a way to understand which size to get printed without prining different ones? Should it stretch to the max the lips or like a 80-90% of the max width?

2. Is there a way to use this without making nasolabial folds / smile lines worse? If i stretch the lips my folds get worse and I don't think its a good tradeoff tbf, any tips?
