THE EASIER & MORE EFFECTIVE WAY TO VERTICALLY THUMB-PULL AT HOME
People were asking about plier pulling. A more effective, less effort method.

thumb-pulling is a pain especially 6-12 times per day for minutes at a time. your thumbs wear out and you fall out of consistency. :feelswhy:
heres the solution:
A plier :lul:
Insulated Combination Pliers | Lineman Pliers | Side Cutting Pliers | Fluke

GUIDE:
what you need:

  • A plier (preferably plat on the top and wider. must fit your mouth)
  • A piece of fabric to add as padding & for better grip
  • Thats all!
either tape the top if you don't mind or put a towel/fabric over it to reduce pain & add a beta ter grip.

IMG 5532

How to Pull:
  1. brace your head against something
  2. place tips of pliers against bottom of molars (preferably the back molars for more expansion bc they are more malleable)
  3. pull apart pliers at 8/10 force and hold for about 60-120 secconds at a time 3x a day.
  4. I also pull my mandible lightly for less time (idgaf if i get TMD)

my routine:
120s plier in the morning, thumbpulling rarely throughout the day, 120s plier nightly. (SO MUCH LESS WORK)

*note* you won't need as much time pulling due to the force amount applied being 10x more than your thumbs. :feelsgood:
*disclaimer* I am not responsible for injuries so don't over-do it and be a dumbass

Good luck looking like this from now on

Won't this only cause theeth tipping outwards

you're under estimating the strength of your molars. still try pulling from the base of the bone.

Is it easy to get it on the base of the bone tho and not the teeth? Also have u seen results

ngl ima try this:ROFLMAO:

If some high iqs approve of this ill do it

tried and it works, shit hurts though, saw results after 3 days - teeth more space out and starting to fit my tongue in pallet, far better than thumbpulling imo

interesting but i feel like it may only expand your hard palate, and not the soft one, only causing the bottom part of your maxilla to get wider, whereas if you simply thumb pull, you can get them deep in and pull both palates at the same time for equal distribution of force and relatively equal expansion of both palates

u can just hold the pull on both the soft and hard pallete. i got pilliers that are thin at the top so they fit in the hard pallete as well, you just hold both areas.

Surprisingly more convenient than thumb pulling, at least for longer periods of time.

Pulling on your upper and lower pallet temporally won’t even work, you are at higher risk of damaging teeth or gum instead of expanding anything,a pallet expander works but this shit is defo cope

So would using a vise grip/ locking plier make it easier since you lock it in place. You could gradually increase the width. Someone should try this

i think your airway gets better, you get wider cheekbones and when you smile more teeth show

some people have talked about having their nose wider but i dont know for sure. if cheekbones get wider it doesnt change eye area, it has no coordination to it but if you push your maxilla upwards then maybe it will help undereye support. there isnt much evidence its just theory, but i know for sure that bad posture and maxilla development is usually linked to bad airway and nose bridge being bumpy/crooked.

ye it works better than thumbpulling. I still occassioanlly do thumbpulling if like I'm in the Sauan or something cause GH spike there too (not sure if that does shit but why not). I keep the vise on like 30 minutse a day and towel on each side.
