Fillers are cheaper and less invasive. Always try the least invasive option first imo.

in every fucking upper eyelid retraction result it always ends up in more UEE
sure in the first one he looks better but it also removed the fat pads
id recommend orbital rim implants + upper eyelid filler
but if u have good orbital support and just want extra hooding?
uee fillers are the way to go
