Probably got more of a pump because you did more sets

probably but I find that some volume might be better than little volume

In reality the weekly volume would only be around 1 set different wouldn’t it?

statistically speaking 1 set will give the same stimulus as 2 sets

I mean an upper lower is usually 2 sets twice a week, so 4 weekly sets, fb is 1 set, 3x a week, so only 1 set difference

but also the 1st set is the most stimulating set so full body maximizes stimulus by doing that but I just looked bigger on upper lower

You may be doing a mistake in your full body which is trying to bias different parts of the same muscle every session , so say you did incline press on your first fb and on the second you did flat and in the third costal then at the end of the week you only did 1 exercise for each part of the chest you didn’t really benefit from higher frequency training so when you changed it into upper lower you did twice the frequency done on the wrongly executed full body that you could've been doing
