This is why I don't date fucking poor people. She's Stacy tier and WASP but her dad barely makes $2MM/year. I met up with her in the French Riviera after a 3-week bender with the boys in Marbella, Magaluf, Zante, Ibiza & Mykonos - for a quick romantic break before a final 2-week bender with the boys again (all off to different parts of Europe this week).
We went to Monaco via her dad's yacht docked in Antibes (our hotel was in Nice so we had to take a Uber Black to Antibes) which was a 110-footer Azimut so not terrible for her social class.
We were strolling about and jetskiing along the beach flexing on poor peasants and invited some friends in the area (ALL of our social circles are ripping euro summer right now) so I was DJing some haus mixes on the flydeck while she was tanning and deleting mimosas next to me. It was about 40-50 super rich New England WASP slayers and stacies from our social circle on the 110-footer anchored off Monaco for 3 days.
On day 2 I went down with her to stroll Monaco and I went to Zegna to purchase a new suit (for work), I was talking shop with the rocket tart salesperson there and was saying I was looking for high quality fabric from a selected list of wool mills, Super 110-130s given its a workhorse suit and wool weight of ~300 GSM given New England weather.
My girlfriend was scrolling through her phone when she furrowed her brows in confusion and tilted her head up to me and was like "what does GSM mean?", betraying her lowly social class to ALL SIX SALESPEOPLE IN THE ZEGNA STORE.
I was FUMING. I could hear slight snickers as everybody LAUGHED at me for dating an upper-middle class bird who knew NOTHING about Haute Couture suits the likes of Zegna/Kiton.
