I got so hot headed I had to walk about, wash my face and hop back into bed. I shouldn't carry my phone to bed next time.

I am so sorry for my racist vitriol particularly against monoracial black women and Indian people, and anti-Hindu/anti-Sikh sentiment. It's not in my nature to be racist/prejudiced like this.

I get very upset and triggered when dark-skinned ethnic people such as many South Asians of both genders and monoracial black people, especially black women, like to brush aside mixed, MENA and Hispanic people and treat them as "basically white". They even do this to east Asians as well. Completely ignoring the struggles we at the lighter end of the ethnic spectrum suffer from, both from them and from white people, and thinking because they're more oppressed, they are the only people who deserve the label people of colour. Thus creating division. And things like that make me get so angry.

@URL code you don't know what it's like to be on the lighter end of the non-white spectrum and still get racist abuse from both white and ethnic people. Especially considering I'm mixed. We're all racist

please forgive me

Dear Xangsane,

I am writing to extend a formal and heartfelt apology for the comment I made earlier, in which I incorrectly referred to your ethnicity as white, rather than acknowledging your Asian heritage. I realize that my words were not only inaccurate but also insensitive and disrespectful, and for that, I am truly sorry.

My intention was never to hurt or offend you, and I understand the significance of cultural and ethnic identity. I deeply regret my thoughtless remark and the impact it may have had on you. Please know that I take full responsibility for my mistake.

It is crucial for me to emphasize that I am committed to learning from this experience and being more conscientious with my words in the future. Your ethnicity, like anyone's, should be treated with respect and sensitivity, and I failed to do that in this instance.

Once again, I apologize for my misjudgment, and I hope that you can find it in your heart to forgive me for this lapse in judgment. I value our relationship and the opportunity to learn and grow from my mistakes.

Sincerely,

AspiringMogger
