- Uruguay is the smallest country in South America (except the Guyanas).
- Uruguay has only one city, Montevideo, the rest of the country is basically depopulated, there are literally no humans for Thousands of kilometers outside of the city.
- The only people who are culturally close to Uruguayans are the Argentinians from the Buenos Aires region. And they hate Uruguay because they became independent against Argentina's will and are bitter football rivals now.
- Uruguay's population is small and shrinking. Today, around 3 million people live there and the birth rates are the lowest in South America, meaning that the population will start to decline fast in the future.
- There are around 500,000 Uruguayans living abroad, one of the highest emigration rates in the world. Young Uruguayans don't see a future in the country.
- It has the biggest suicide rates in South America and one of the biggest in the world.
IT'S OVER FOR URUGUAY.
