I thought it may have been a fluke last time I was out drinking because of how much I was walking plus moving but no today proved to me that I have an extremely high alcohol tolerance.

Was drinking with my friends (2 of whom are proper North Atlantid British lads) and had 5 big cans of beer (each can was like 480ml 5% alcohol) and it did absolutely nothing.

Then went to the bar and got like 30 dollars worth of shots and drinks and I felt tipsy but I was still very much conscious and in control. Had to spend an another 20 or so after to actually get drunk.

My pinky friends I was with (both of whom are big guys) were drunk after like 7 beers and me and my other Indian friend both drank quite a lot before we were drunk.

I don’t know what it is that caused us to adapt to high alcohol tolerance, interestingly enough, in the vedas there is a god by the name of “soma” who is essentially alcohol personified. “He” was also one of the most praised gods during the Vedic times and lost aura and relevance as india got invaded and turned more towards pseudo Islamic conservatism.
