Just a distraction for the US public because something more important is happening, like the daily ridicule they are doing in the international scene or the immunity they want to grant to Pfizer.

It's common that they always do this just when something uncomfortable for them is happening, especially when sports are still on Regular Season, events like Wrestlemania are still far away in the calendar to distract the masses and movies/series are not enough or suck.
