Do men in their late 20s even want a serious relationship that will lead to marriage?

Going through a breakup up right now with a guy (28m) that I (26f) met on Hinge, we dated for 8 months. He broke up with me a couple days ago, and said he wasn’t ready for how serious things were getting, and he didn’t want to waste more of my time since he wasn’t ready to commit to a future with me. He also mentioned the usual “you’re going to make someone really happy” and “I’m just going through a lot in my personal life right now”. Ngl I’m pretty crushed - I didn’t really see this coming and I loved him a lot.

I’m feeling frustrated because it seems like men from 26-32, think they have all the time in the world to settle down. They see having a girlfriend at this age as limiting their freedom/options. Am I doing something wrong? I can’t help but feel like I’m the problem - like I’m not good enough to settle down with. Are other women 26-30 having these same issues? I don’t want to date someone too much older, but I’m starting to feel as if that’s the only solution.
