Well i respect the dignity of humans by default, so they dont need to earn it

social contracts allow for cohesive groups to form, and groups are always stronger than individuals
respecting the basic rights of others in return for their respect of mine is a great deal and leads to an increase in overall wellbeing and strength

Economically that has great effects with how much the workforce grew, but happiness, especially in women, has greatly decreased after they began to join the workforce

Both sexes are very distinct and women gaining more freedom decreased social cohesion in regards to dating with there being an even greater amount of excess men / incels

But I still think economic growth trumps metrics like that because of where economic progress can take us, so sure it was a good achievement

It's not nearly as black and white as you paint it tho
