If the son achieves something like a good career, no one really congratulates him.
its expected

If the daughter did the exact same thing, they would be praised to high heavens

If the son needs a car? or wants to on holiday with his mates?
Well you better man up and get job then

If the daughter needs a car? new bag? wants to go holiday?
lets book a nice expensive place and pay for everything

son is useless?
needs some tough love

daughter is useless?
she needs tender care and support


so many examples but in short
they raise their sons to be 1950s style traditional men, and have sympathy for any failure

but the daughters can pretty much do whatever the fuck they want and will get praised and supported regardless

My sisters are failures, my older sister is 32 (I think) and whilst she earns 90k, she’s still renting, has no boyfriend, no kids etc. she’s legitimately a chore to hang around with, her self loathing manifests her cruel and bossy nature to others, she also took the minox pill cause she has PCOS (due to veganism JFLLLL), and thinks that minox will help her (muh growth factors will stop a hormonal process ), so she looks 40ish.
