It's been just 3-4 hours and I seemed to completely close my front tooth gap.
The method used:
Basically you put small rubber bands, like these ones:

Personally, my front teeth gap were small, so it only took around 4 hours to completely close. I also did not use two rubber bands, but one. I only put one rubber band that I turned around to make it seem like two, which made it tighter (NOTE: if you have teeth gap between lateral incisors and central incisors:
, then use two rubber bands as shown in the previous image).
According to the comments, if you take off the rubber bands the gap will reopen again, unless you use a retainer at night, but I will keep doing this for a longer period of time and see wether it stays permanently.
