Sometimes I feel like I’m lowkey catfishing when I talk to girls. Not with my pics, but with my words. Because half the time, it’s ChatGPT helping me come up with replies.
She says something cute or deep, and I’m like “hmm let me consult the AI overlord real quick.” Then I send her some perfectly worded, emotionally calibrated response that makes me sound way more interesting than I actually am.
It feels weird. Like I’m outsourcing my personality. Like I’m LARPing as a better version of myself that only exists when the AI is helping.
What happens when we meet in person and I can’t pause the convo to ask ChatGPT for a clever reply?
