Using Melitane (Acetyl-Hexapeptide-1) for hair darkening.

I am currently using eyebrow and lash dye as you see on this attached (framed) picture, but I am just sick of using dye all my life and MT2 is really no longterm solution for coloring. I recently found out about Melitane, which increases eumelanin on the area where you topically apply it. Has anyone here experimented with Melitane for hair darkening? It's supposed to be solely for reversing greying but I am not sure why it wouldn't work for darkening in general.

Applying MC1R agonist around the eyes carry side effects like periorbital hyperpigmentation and lack of ocular safety. A realistic alternative is Henna Tint, which requires periodic re-application. 6-8 weeks on hair and 1-2 weeks on skin (the duration).
